Everyone who knows me, knows I love the jewels and the precious metals. (Maybe I was a Cartier in a past life?) Studio Vincent is my favorite jeweler.
Their blog says it all: If you are looking for a cathedral setting, a 4 or 6 prong mounting or a perfectly matched bridal set you might want to shop elsewhere. There are lots of stores that make that kind of jewelry, and they do it well. What they don’t do is continually push the envelope when it comes to design. Studio Vincent owner and master goldsmith Stephen Vincent constantly strives to make his designs better and more interesting. Full bezels, floating diamonds, big fat wide bands, precious metal fused to industrial steel; these are just a few of the things you can expect when you come into our store.
That part was written by Louisa Podlich (also a budding photographer) who helped us design an amazing engagement ring. We shopped one bitter cold day at four downtown jewelers and none, save SV, had anything that Kevin thought was worth revisiting. (Did I mention he has fantastic taste?) Now on to the bling:
It is so lovely, red gold brushed band, palladium bezel and a fancy- an emerald cut diamond. Kevin’s band will also be red gold. (Some folks call it rose gold or pink gold. I call it yummy.)
