My mom, Kevin, and I are so grateful to the dozens of friends who sat in vigil with us at the VNA Hospice Center. As friends reassured us, the gracious nurses, staff, and volunteers were wonderful. We were so moved by a Methodist volunteer- Judy Bornstein who sang hymns a cappella- that my mom bought a customized paver to thank her outside the Center.
Today we worked on the memorial service, and we are mildly nervous about the size of the clubhouse to hold everyone who wants to attend. If you are on the fence about attending, we would welcome a visit at another time. If you’d like to share memories, but are unable to attend, please leave them here in the comments or email us.
Thank you for your funny, sad, and sweet memories of Arnt. We appreciate the company, yummy food, flowers and messages. Arnt is doubtless enjoying all the attention from afar.
